Sell Us Your Story is a new division of South West News Service (SWNS). We were one of the very first freelance news agencies in Britain and are very proud of our history.
The company was founded as The Bristol Agency in 1978 and has been covering the West of England for the national newspapers 24 hours a day, 365 days a week ever since.
A few decades later we added a features department, selling stories to women’s magazines and the newspaper feature sections which, again, is the biggest of its kind with 12 writers.
Today we employ some 50 journalists and photographers at our offices in Bristol, Plymouth, Cambridge and Leamington Spa and fill more column inches than any other freelance press agency in Britain.
We also have our own television production company who specialise in real-life documentaries and ‘fly on the wall’ programmes, so your story could even end up on TV – meaning more income for you.
